We are excited to reveal the speakers for this year’s Emirates Dubai 7s Long Lunch... joining us on Friday 12th of September at will be: 

Ben Youngs

England’s most-capped men’s player with a career that spans over a decade. Ben is a veteran of four Rugby World Cups, a five-time Premiership champion with Leicester Tigers, four Six Nations titles and a British & Irish Lion. He’s one of the most accomplished scrum-halves in the modern game. 

Michael Cheika

Michael is one of the most respected coaches in the world of rugby and the only coach to have won top-level club titles in both hemispheres. Cheika led the Wallabies to the Rugby World Cup Final in 2015 and later oversaw a historic win for Argentina’s national team over the All Blacks. Other notable wins for him were a Champions Cup victory with Leinster in 2009 and a Super Rugby title with the NSW Waratahs in 2014. Most recently, he led Leicester Tigers to the 2025 Gallagher Premiership final. 

Ben and Michael will be joining us for a spectacular afternoon of great food and drinks as they share anecdotes on stage and mingle with guests. Already confirmed as host for the evening is England rugby's Martin Bayfield, so it's set to be another unforgettable Long Lunch afternoon!

All 3 rugby heroes will be also assisting with fundraising initiatives for Dubai 7s for Good. The Dubai 7s team recently visited Uganda to understand how the money raised is being put to good use in the community, read more here!
