Padel at the Emirates Dubai 7s
Dubai 7s newest sport, Padel Tennis, made its debut in 2023 in the form of our very own Padel tournament, 'Rebound'. The first Padel tournament of its kind took place throughout last year's festival on 5-purpose built court right in the heart of the site!
For 2024, Rebound will be delivered in partnership with Viya Padel. As the original home of Padel Tennis in the UAE, the tournament could not be in better hands - and we cannot wait to make Rebound even bigger and better this year, as it develops into one of the flagship Dubai 7s sports.
The tournament is open to Padel players of all abilities, and the tournament will take place once again across the 3-days 29-30 November, and 1st December 2024.

Whether you've recently picked up a Padel racket or been playing competitions for years, there are categories available for all abilities, and all pairings:
D Beginner Social (any gender pairing)
C/C- Open Social (any gender pairing)
C+ Open Competitive (men’s pairs competitions)
Junior (aged 8-14, any gender pairing)

Who can enter?
Anyone is welcome to take part! Rebound is open to those who have recently taken up Padel, or who have been playing competitions for years. We will do our best to assess the playing levels of participants ahead of the tournament to ensure a fair and competitive competition for each category.
When does it take place?
The tournament takes place during the Emirates Dubai 7s festival at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai on 29th - 30th November and 1st December. Games will be played throughout the 3 days depending on which category you are in.
How much does it cost?
The price for an adult team entry is AED750, for the junior team entry (aged 8-14), it is AED350. Your entry fee will allows participants full access to Emirates Dubai 7s throughout the weekend.
How do I know which category to enter?
We kindly ask that you respect your current playing abilities and ensure that your pair enters the right category to make it a fair and fun competition for all. Any eligibility questions or queries on which team you should enter, please email Dubai.7s@thesevens.ae.
How do I register?
Register your team here. Once your registration has been confirmed, you will receive a link for payment
- This tournament is open to boys and girls who must be between the ages of 8 and 14 years on 29th November 2024.
- Pairs can be made up of 2 girls, 2 boys or 1 boy and 1 girl.
- The tournament will consist of a group stage (round robin) with the highest ranked pairs after this stage progressing to the finals series.
- The event is otherwise ungraded and everyone is welcome to participate.
- Schedule: Friday, 29th November 2PM - 5PM
Price per pair: AED 350 (which includes players entry to the full Emirates Dubai 7s 3-day weekend)
- This adult tournament is open to male and female participants who are the age of 14 and above.
- Pairs can be made up of 2 women, 2 men or 1 man and 1 woman.
- This tournament is for players who have recently taken up the sport and are able to sustain short rallies and understand the basics of positioning.
- The tournament will consist of a group stage (round robin) with the highest ranked pairs after this stage progressing to the finals series.
- Schedule: Saturday, 30th November 9AM - 12PM
Price per pair: AED 750 (which includes players entry to the full Emirates Dubai 7s 3-day weekend)
- This adult tournament is open to male and female participants who are the age of 14 and above.
- Pairs can be made up of 2 women, 2 men or 1 man and 1 woman.
- This tournament is for players who understand positioning in defence and attack, can transition around the court and who can sustain short to medium rallies.
- The tournament will consist of a group stage (round robin) with the highest ranked pairs after this stage progressing to the finals series.
- Schedule: Saturday, 30th November 1PM - 7PM
Price per pair: AED 750 (which includes players entry to the full Emirates Dubai 7s 3-day weekend)
- This adult tournament is open to male participants who are the age of 14 and above.
- It will consist of a 16 pair men’s tournament.
- Players at this level possess the ability to sustain long rallies, change the pace of and apply different strategies to the game as well as having a good understanding of a variety of Padel specific shots e.g. Bandeja and Chiquita.
- The tournament will consist of a group stage (round robin) with the highest ranked pairs after this stage progressing to the finals series.
- Schedule: Sunday, 1st December 9AM - 1PM
