Accessibility

To qualify for POD tickets, customers must:

• Be a person of determination or a companion of a POD ticket holder.
• Provide valid identification or documentation that confirms eligibility for POD tickets, if requested by the event or venue.

Venue staff and the event appreciate that not all disabilities are visible and will endeavor to be respectful in the communication with all POD ticket holders when confirming eligibility.

POD tickets can be purchased via the Emirates Dubai 7s website or mobile application. When purchasing a POD ticket, the specific POD ticket type must be selected from the ticket category labelled ‘People of Determination’.

Tickets are subject to availability and a maximum number of POD tickets per transaction may apply.

POD tickets included two entries to the event, one for the individual with a disability and their carer or companion. Companion tickets are intended solely for individuals accompanying POD ticket holders and must be used as such.

POD tickets will be delivered electronically to the Wallet section of the Emirates Dubai 7s mobile application. If an alternate ticket delivery method is required to accommodate the needs of the individual, please contact ticketing@b9events.com

POD tickets are intended for use by the person of determination and their companion. These tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold or exchanged. Misuse of POD tickets, including transfer or resale, may result in the cancellation of tickets without refund.

Emirates Dubai 7s is located at The Sevens Stadium, on Al Ain Road. Approximately 20 minutes outside of central Dubai.

RTA – RTA offer an accessible taxi option for Sanad card holders, bookable through their channels.

Should anyone require personalized accessible vehicle transport, we can recommend WAM Accessible Transport LLC to provide accessible transport options.

Blue Badge parking and accessible vehicle drop off is available at the dedicated Persons of Determination parking, which you can also find HERE on the festival map.

The entrance is less than 50m from the parking zone and is wheelchair accessible.

Please present your Blue Badge parking pass on the app if requested to do so.

If you are a VIP Hospitality guest, please follow the directional signage for VIP parking.

For General Admission ticketholders, the accessible entrance is located at gate 10 (main entrance). There will be a lane and security checkpoint that is suitable for wheelchair users.

For VIP ticket holders, the access point will be at the VIP entrance gate which has PoD accessibility and security checkpoints.

For those who require full time assistance, your PoD ticket includes complimentary access for one carer / assistant. For more information, please see Ticketing Policy above.

Trained assistance guide dogs are allowed into the event. Please note they must be kept on a lead at all times. There are welfare stations (water and bags) for dogs around the site, you must clean up after your dog.

NB – Please note that this a very busy festival environment, with significant sound, sight and smell factors that can influence assistance dogs. All assistance dogs should be trained in and used to this type of environment.

Wheelchairs and other motorised chairs are allowed in the event. Ramp access is available across site.

Accessible spectator viewing is available in dedicated areas around the festival. For Pitch 1 World Series Rugby, there is an accessible viewing deck located at all grandstands around pitch 1.

Spaces are on a first come first served basis.

Accessible restrooms are available throughout the Festival, equipped with facilities designed for people of determination.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE FACILITIES

Emirates Dubai 7s is proud of its wide variety and selection of Food and Beverage options across the festival.

Throughout the festival there will be several food outlets and bars, including food trucks. These outlets will be accessible for all spectators. If you require assistance accessing the counter, please speak to a member of staff.

The Samurai Merchandise store is located in the main Festival Village, next to Pitch 2.

The Merchandise store is fully wheelchair accessible, and staff will be available to assist within the shop if required.

Emirates Dubai 7s Cricket Presented by Dulsco is located at the Cricket Ovals (please refer to Festival Map). There will be a shuttle service operating from the East Village to Cricket.

Once at the Cricket festival, there are accessible toilets and food and beverage stations. The cricket ovals and viewing areas are on a level service and accessible for all spectators.

Emirates Dubai 7s Netball Presented by Nakheel is located at the Netball Courts, next to the Clubhouse (please refer to Festival Map).

The route to Netball is fully accessible for wheelchair users and there is accessible of the courts.

The Emirates Dubai 7s VIP Hospitality area is fully accessible with lift access into North Grandstand VIP seating where there is a PoD viewing area.

Accessible toilets are available within the Hospitality area.

In the event of an emergency, you will be guided to the nearest safe area. If we need to evacuate part of the festival, you will be guided to the nearest Emergency Assemble Point. Please follow the instructions of our security and hosting team at all times. If you are in any doubt or are anxious about what is happening, please contact the POD Concierge Team (event days only) via WhatsApp on +971507981954, who will support you and provide as much information as they can.

Once the incident is over, we would aim to reopen the area affected when safe to do so. If, for any reason, you wish to leave the festival, please contact the POD Concierge Team who will direct you back to the POD parking via the safest route. Your safety is our highest priority.

Emirates Dubai 7s recognizes sunflower lanyards may choose to be worn by those with a hidden disability that might not be visible to see. Sunflower lanyards help to show that some extra time, space or assistance might be required.

If you are wearing a sunflower lanyard, a member of staff might ask if there is any way in which they can assist you.
